The Environmental Analytical Laboratory (EAL) is a centralized facility that provides analytical measurements of a wide variety of materials, including water, soil, sediments, and biological samples. Researchers can access the lab and operate the instruments to conduct research projects that involve analysis of nutrients, selected chemical species, and major and trace elements. The facility provides services not readily available from outside sources to facilitate research and serve the community and features training, self-operation instrument use, sample drop-off service, new project and grant proposal assistance and technical consultation.
