Fall 2023 Climate Action Seed Funds

The Fall 2023 Climate Action Seed Funds solicitation was issued in June 2023.  Twenty-five proposals were received, requesting a total of $11,785,877. These were of high quality and underwent two rounds of comprehensive review. ORED awarded eleven, two small (up to $100K) and nine large (up to $1M), projects (listed below) for a total of $4,889,426  These projects are synergistic with the State of California’s climate action priorities outlined in the California Climate Adaptation Strategy.
